Feature · Team intelligence

A long circuit for
the whole team.

Fifty or seventy people can share the lap without becoming a cramped leaderboard. Follow pace, workload heat, plans, reports and conditions across the route.

The team operating loop

Intent becomes
evidence.

The team view connects what people planned, what the workday recorded, what they reported, and what the next day should change.

Plan

Collect project tasks and estimates without making the morning update a separate ritual.

64 people · 343h planned

Observe

See activity, focus and project movement while the team works naturally.

Conditions, not interruption

Support

Route missing permissions, workload heat and stalled reporting to the right owner.

Precise interventions

Close

Compare plan, actual time and written outcomes while the context is still fresh.

Improve

Protect focus slots, rebalance load and carry useful project context forward.

Repeat what worked

See who is moving.
See who needs air.

The circuit makes momentum visible, but it never rewards long hours by themselves. Productive share, focused output and recovery conditions carry different meanings.

Leaders can follow the front of the field while the pit wall surfaces people who need support, a device fix, or a safer stop time.

Conditions before
commands.

Team intelligence should answer what needs attention, not create more dashboards to interpret. Desk8 connects planner status, daily reporting, device health and workload heat into one operating view.

Team dispatch

Planned work stays connected to actual time.

64 people · 343h planned

EOD reports

Missing reports surface as a precise queue.

45 / 52 7 pending

Capture health

Fix device permissions without opening private content.

1 desk needs attention

Flight recorder

Desk8 time, time at work, productive time and offline time stay visually related instead of becoming isolated KPI tiles.

348h 39m tracked · 387h 29m at work

Heat watch

Recovery conditions appear as action, not a heroic-hours score.

The system behind the circuit

Every condition has
a source and an owner.

Team intelligence becomes actionable when a signal can lead directly to the planner, project, device, report or policy that produced it.

01

Planner and reporting

Compare morning intent with actual work and end-of-day outcomes. Pending reports remain a targeted queue rather than a broadcast reminder.

  • Estimated and actual hours
  • Sent, filed, pending and draft states
02

Projects and tasks

Search hundreds of project routes, open a daily effort profile and identify the tasks carrying the work.

  • 481 indexed project routes
  • Daily and all-time effort stay distinct
03

Crew and device health

Organization, role, platform, desktop version and tracking status create a scan path for operational support.

  • 66 current people · 12 archived
  • Update and not-tracking conditions
04

Classification and policy

Productive, neutral and unproductive applications remain globally consistent while duplicate signals wait for explicit review.

  • 131 configured applications
  • AI detection remains independently visible
05

Notifications and delivery

Version reminders, check-ins, EOD prompts and WhatsApp report groups become deliberate routes with visible consequences.

  • Target the relevant condition
  • Keep company-wide actions approval-gated

Evidence with
boundaries.

Screenshots become a time-indexed contact sheet with retention, access and capture health visible before any image opens. Role permissions stay scoped; missing permission is a device condition, not employee behavior.

Abstract first, detail on permission.

Contact sheets reveal rhythm without exposing content by default.

Access remains attached to role.

Screenshot visibility and timeline adjustment are independently controlled.

Retention stays visible.

Storage use, retained frames and recycling remain part of the same view.

Different questions by role

One shared picture.
Scoped responsibilities.

The circuit is not a universal leaderboard. Each role sees the conditions needed to make its own decisions.

Team lead

Where is delivery drifting?

See plan-versus-actual differences, missing outcomes, workload heat and high-focus patterns worth protecting.

Project lead

Which route carries the effort?

Follow daily project time, task concentrations and shifts in effort without opening dozens of individual timelines.

Operations

Which condition needs a fix?

Route desktop updates, missing capture permissions, classification cleanup and delivery failures to the right owner.

Leadership

Is pace sustainable?

Read output, AI contribution, report reliability and workload heat without making longer days look better.

Team intelligence · common questions

A circuit needs
clear rules.

The team view remains useful only when its numbers, boundaries and follow-up actions are understood.

Does Desk8 rank people by hours worked?

No. Long hours are treated as a workload condition. Productivity, focus, planned work, reported outcomes and recovery remain separate signals.

What happens when tracking data is missing?

The condition remains unknown or is routed as a device issue. Desk8 does not silently convert a failed timeline into zero work.

Can a manager see every screenshot?

Only when their role has explicit screenshot access. Capture permission and the right to view captured content are separate controls.

Can team-wide settings change from the dashboard?

Production settings can be managed by authorized administrators. High-impact actions should keep explicit confirmation and a visible scope before they are applied.
